We are looking for a Mid-Level Energy Auditor / Efficiency Specialist to lead high-impact projects for nonprofit and affordable housing clients across Massachusetts.

$60k - $75k + Bonus

Mission-Driven Engineering

This role sits at the intersection of technical analysis, HVAC design, and project management. You will help affordable housing owners reduce costs and improve building performance through Mass Save and LEAN programs.

Technical & Design

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits & walkthroughs
  • Collect field data on HVAC, DHW, and Envelope
  • Design HVAC systems using HeatCAD / Wrightsoft
  • Develop duct layouts and system sizing

Project Leadership

  • Coordinate with utility programs (Mass Save/LEAN)
  • Manage subcontractors and site schedules
  • Track project costs and profitability margins
  • Communicate with property managers & owners

Is This You?

Experience

3–5 years in energy auditing, HVAC, or building performance. Familiarity with Mass Save or LEAN programs is a huge plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with HVAC design tools (HeatCAD, Wrightsoft) and standard office software (Excel, Project Tracking).

Certifications

BPI, HERS, or similar certifications preferred. OSHA 10/30 is a bonus.
